The Economics Department has three full time members and several part-time members who have their undergraduate teaching responsibilities at the Stamford Campus. The Economics Program prepares students for careers in the economics field through research training, solid fundamentals, and access to valuable networking programs and events. The Department in Stamford annually hosts an Alumni Networking Event, sponsors a student team in the New York Federal Reserve FED Challenge, and sponsors a student Economics Club.
Students at The University of Connecticut Stamford Economics program work on a variety of projects to help prepare for careers in the economics field. This includes a variety of projects designed to provoke thoughtful data analysis and visualization using industry standard software programs.
