A team of Economics majors represented the Stamford Campus in the 2016 FED Challenge Competition. The team members are: Shrey Patel, Alexander Rojas, Ravinder Singh, Amar Parikh, Chris McLaughlin, and Joanne Ksiazek. The competition takes place at the Federal Reserve Bank in New York City. There are 20+ teams. Each team makes a 15 minute presentation on monetary policy and 2 staff economists ask questions and evaluate the teams presentation and responses during the 15 minute Q/A. This was our first entry and the team received high scores on their presentation. While they did not advance to the final round they did receive many favorable reviews.
